Founded in 1945, Oluce is the oldest Italian design company in the illumination sector still in operation today. The design qualities of the lamps make them icons that communicate across the generations to become an integral part of the homes they furnish.
Alongside the catalogue products is the Oluce experience in lighting technology and Made in Italy attentiveness, which in turn have given life to the Bespoke Tailoring, the special department dedicated to contract design.
OLUCE Lens Wall Lamp - Lens by Francesco Rota was inspired by contemporary sculpture, playing with the curved surfaces to create an interesting interplay of light and mirrors. In fact, Lens is a direct light wall lamp with a concave screen that creates a barrier between the light source and the surrounding area. Available in a chrome-plated or copper version, this project has a notable decorative value, however behind which the use of the LED light source is concealed – an innovative, technological heart – capable of guaranteeing an energy saving exceeding 80% compared to the traditional version.
OLUCE Coupe Wall Arch - The Coupé Wall is a simple and ingenious mechanism that connects the stem to the head makes it possible to direct the beam in several directions, by moving the dome up, down and sideways. In 1968, Coupé won the ”International Design Award” of the American Institute of Interior Designers in Chicago. It is part of the permanent collection at both the MoMA in New York and the ”Neue Sammlung” Museum in Munich.

OLUCE Colombo Wall Lamp - The visionary and futuristic designer Joe Colombo designed the Colombo lamp in 1970, on the wave of the rapid diffusion of the halogen light. The design is in fact one of the first domestic lamps to use the new type of bulb. The design of the Colombo lamp – base, chrome stem and adjustable reflector – responds to the demands for clean shapes and technological functionality that go hand in hand with the concept and design of this great designer.
OLUCE Berlin Wall/Ceiling Lamp - Available in the ø30, ø40 wall light and ø50 version for use either as a ceiling light or wall light, Berlin takes the form of a thick metal ring with a slender profile enclosing a disc of wire mesh glass inside it. The satin brass finish recall echoes of Art Deco, given a contemporary update in the shapes, and in the use of LED as the light source.
OLUCE Astro Wall Lamp - The Astro has three transparent and sanded surfaces and the rest are opaque, making it look like a little jewel whose geometrics are underlined by the materials that form it: the metal part, which comes in white or black, and the transparent and sanded glass create a “prism” effect on the light.
