Founded in 1945, Oluce is the oldest Italian design company in the illumination sector still in operation today. The design qualities of the lamps make them icons that communicate across the generations to become an integral part of the homes they furnish.
Alongside the catalogue products is the Oluce experience in lighting technology and Made in Italy attentiveness, which in turn have given life to the Bespoke Tailoring, the special department dedicated to contract design.
OLUCE Lyndon Pendant - Lyndon is a pendant lamp created in 1977 by Vico Magistretti. He designed an innovative concept that takes you back to lost times. Using geometric shapes to interlocking one another creates a masterful piece.
OLUCE Lyndon Wall Lamp - At least once in our lives, we have dreamt of owning a house surrounded by a large garden, even a park, and of strolling round it in the evening when dusk falls and peace and tranquility returns. This is why Vico Magistretti designed the Lyndon in 1977–he wanted to recount a dream.
OLUCE Lu-Lu Floor Lamp - Lu-Lu is a theoretical lamp, endowed with just the right measure of geometric abstraction required by object to maintain their courtliness. Lu-Lu can desired, be left completely off and hence textural, or on and thus dissolved, but also lit only in its upper half (the light resting on the heavy) or in its lower half (the heavy resting on the light).
OLUCE Lu-lu Table Lamp - The Lu-Lu table lamp has a slight gap that lifts the glass off the top and projects a sharp, circular shadow: a detail not to be underrated. OLUCE Line Wall Lamp - The Line wall lamp uses the special oval Pyrex glass to portray an essential, minimal image, yet at the same time which is strongly characterised. The generous size, the importance of the material, the partial polished aluminium coating, the existence of two light sources that diffuse the light both upwards and downwards, make Line a versatile product.
OLUCE Lanterna Pendant - With their two lamps Lanterna and Lanternina, Marta Laudani and Marco Romanelli succeed in enclosing light in a casing made of air. The two different-sized models share the pure shape, composed of two bell-shaped Murano glass diffusers one inside the other: the first, transparent diffuser, hosts the second sand-blasted one, containing the light source.
