&TRADITION In Between SK1 Dining Chair Wood Seat - Floor Model - Inspired by the Scandinavian heritage of design and furniture craftmanship, In Between is a result of Sami Kallio’s solid grounding in traditional wood- working techniques and his eye for ingenious detail. It started with a single chair which later resulted in a series of furniture including both tables and chairs.

When Massproductions Designer-in-Chief, Chris Martin designed the Dandy in 2015, he asked himself "How do we want to sit?" and "How do we want to move in a room?". The answer to the questions was the Dandy collection. "With Dandy we wanted to encourage playfulness in how we furnish rooms, homes and public spaces. Magnus found a sofa from the 30s at an auction that had a nice rounded shape. We see rectangular sofas everywhere, so we were inspired by this almost forgotten form" says Chris Martin.

Offered in seven sizes and shapes - spanning round, square, and rectangular outlines - the Notch table series is distinguished by a striking graphic character accentuating the components’ inherent qualities. The semi-transparent tabletop is resting atop a frame in black stained oak, highlighted by remarkable notched cabinet maker details.

The Rico series welcomes curves and volumes into a classic design defined by soft lines and an embracing expression. Contrasting the sturdiness of the frame, the armchair has an upholstery of timeless, yet easeful bouclé fabric, which is woven of uneven yarn to attain the rich, loopy texture of the surface. The curvaceous nature of the series adds a modern union of comfort and elegance to any room and makes you feel drawn into its motherly embrace.

The Elephant Lounge Chair is designed as a modern lounge chair and draws inspiration from the upholstered chairs of the 1950s and Japanese furniture design. The result is a light and elegant lounge chair where the elephant ear-shaped back gently curves around the body providing superior comfort.

&TRADITION Fly SC2 Sofa - Space Copenhagen ´s Fly series signals a sculptural approach to design without sacrificing comfort. Referencing a classic Nordic aesthetic, details and techniques, seen in the slatted wood backrest, organic shapes and solid craftmanship. Fly is a series that allows the users to sit, lie, rest, and relax. Unlike many of the sofas and easy chairs in Scandinavian design history, Fly does not impose any particular posture onto the sitter. The seat itself is optimized for comfort, with loose cushions for the back that can be arranged according to the user’s own needs.

Soft, playful shapes characterise this family of upholstered pieces, the Hippo makes a stylish statement in any interior setting. The Hippo stands on two chunky legs and a wooden profile connecting the seat and back which in stark contrast to the soft shapes is hard-lined and strong.The Hippo series is influenced by the Hippopotamus mammal drawing upon its barrel-shaped torsos. The characteristic wooden leg profile comes in four different oak finishes; natural, light smoked, dark smoked and black and the seat and back come in variety of upholstery options
